1. Standard refund eligibility

| Request after 14 days while the programme is in progress | No refund | The programme is actively in progress and mentor resources have already been committed. |
| Programme completed | No refund | Portfolio submitted, certification issued, or the programme period expired. |
| Termination for cause under Section 12.2 of the Terms | No refund | The account is terminated due to violation of the Terms, including plagiarism, abuse, or fraud. |
2. EMI payments
If you paid using an EMI option such as INR 2,000 x 3 months for Career Launchpad, refunds are calculated based on the total programme fee and not the individual instalment already paid. If you are eligible for a 50% refund, you receive 50% of the total programme price regardless of how many instalments you have paid. Future instalments due may be cancelled.

3. Exceptional circumstances
Career Forgers may consider refund requests outside the standard policy in exceptional circumstances.
- Serious medical emergency with documentation from a licensed medical practitioner
- Death of the enrolling student or an immediate family member
- Career Forgers cancelling the programme or significantly altering its core structure without adequate notice
- Repeated failure by Career Forgers to assign a suitable mentor despite reasonable efforts
4. How to request a refund
- Email refunds@careerforgers.in with the subject line: 'REFUND REQUEST - [Your Name] - [Programme Name]'
- Include your registered email address, order ID from your payment confirmation, reason for the refund request, and any supporting documentation
- We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days
- If approved, the refund will be processed within 7 to 10 business days to your original payment method via Razorpay
- You will receive email confirmation when the refund has been processed, and bank processing times may add 2 to 5 additional working days
5. What is non-refundable
- Razorpay payment processing fees, typically 2% to 3% of the transaction, because they are charged by Razorpay
- Certification fees charged after issuance of a CF Certification
- Additional services such as premium resume design or LinkedIn audit that have already been delivered
6. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first following the refund process above, Career Forgers may suspend your account pending investigation, provide transaction evidence to Razorpay and your bank to contest the chargeback, and revoke any certifications issued during the disputed period.
We strongly encourage you to contact refunds@careerforgers.in before initiating a chargeback. Legitimate complaints can often be resolved quickly and professionally through the direct refund process.
